Moments of pure emotions filled the air of the “Palazzo Frizzoni” this morning as the Mayor of Bergamo Giorgio Gori and the President of the Municipal Council Ferruccio Rota bestowed Atalanta with the Civic Merit for their UEFA Europa League triumph.
The Club received the gold medal for its services to Bergamo and for having given prestige to the city throughout Europe and worldwide.

Held during a special council meeting of the Municipality of Bergamo, the ceremony was graced by the presence of the main Atalanta BC figures: from President Antonio Percassi and co-Chairman Stephen Pagliuca to CEO Luca Percassi, who led the black-and-blue “delegation” comprising, among others, coach Gian Piero Gasperini and the full roster.
