Atalanta-Napoli 2-0
Pašalić and Gosens on the scoresheet
In the 2019-2020 Serie A TIM Matchday 29 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo another win comes for Atalanta, the seventh straight in the league (all-time record for the Club), the ninth in all competitions, on Gasperini's 400th game as a coach in Serie A: 2-0 win over Napoli and fourth place consolidated.
The first half was really balanced and played with great attention from both sides. There were only few scoring chances: the best one came on 16 when Ospina turned Papu Gomez left-footed effort around the post. Again, the Nerazzurri shirt number 10 took a free kick on 25 that was beaten away by Ospina: the Napoli goalkeeper is unlucky as he clattered into Mario Rui when denying Gomez and was forced off after suffering a violent blow in his head.
In the second half, the Nerazzurri picked up the pace, taking only two minutes to score: Pašalić headed home a wonderful Papu Gomez assist to beat Meret. The Nerazzurri doubled their lead through Gosens on 10, as he picked up Toloi's pass and scored a left-footed angle drive. Gollini came off his line to deny Lozano just before the hour of play, while Fabian Ruiz and Koulibaly shot off target. The Nerazzurri confidently managed their double lead and in the final there was also time for Šutalo's Serie A debut.
